Founder.
The Honorable Dennis
W. Chiu is an elected-official in Santa Clara County, California, and has been practicing law in the Silicon Valley and San
Francisco Bay Area, California since 1997.
In his law practice, Dennis specializes in corporate law, business law,
mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property law, land use law,
constitutional law,
and nonprofit healthcare law. Dennis also provides consulting services
to start-ups, businesses and individuals regarding small business
strategy, legislation, public policy, political strategy, political campaign management, and crisis management.
On
November
6, 2012, Dennis was elected to a 4-year term on the Board of
Directors of the El Camino Hospital District with 24,908 votes from the
voters of the cities of Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Los Altos
Hills, and portions of Cupertino, Palo Alto and Santa Clara. He was
sworn-in on December 10, 2012 by his mentor Justice Nathan D. Mihara,
California Court of Appeals, Sixth District, and was appointed to the El
Camino Hospital's nonprofit public benefit corporation's Board of
Directors, which operates hospitals and clinics with annual gross
revenue of $2.5 billion and net operating revenue of approximately $664
million.
Dennis also is the Vice Chair of the Santa Clara County Planning
Commission, where he has been serving since 2000, and was its chairman in 2002-2003 and 2010-2011.
Additionally, Dennis is a Commissioner on the City of Sunnyvale Housing
& Human Services Commission. Dennis was a commissioner on the Santa
Clara County Census 2000 Complete Count Commission in 2000 - 2001.
Dennis has received awards from the Santa Clara
County Board of Supervisors, Santa Clara County Planning Department and
political organizations for his work in the community.
